With over 15 years of experience in game design and interactive media, Thomas has worked in various roles, including game designer, artist, programmer, level and narrative designer, project manager and producer. He has led teams through iterative design processes to uncover the fun in every project and contributed to marketing strategies and development workflows. As a game producer at TVO, Thomas played a pivotal role in the creation, and delivery of multiple educational games for children.
As Principal Investigator at Centennial College’s WIMTACH, Thomas led the Immersed VR Social project, presented at Nuit Blanche 2019 and the Regent Park Film Festival. The project focused on community-based storytelling to amplify the voices of inner-city youth.
Thomas has taught Game Design at Centennial College for over 8 years, mentoring future game creators. He studied Film at the University of Toronto, earned a web programming degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2009, and completed a Computer Graphic Design Diploma at Herzing College in 2010.
